The Bangladesh tour itinerary against the Proteas will include two tests, three one-day internationals and two Twenty20 games at the start of the 2017-18 season.
The tour is the start of an action-packed summer for the South African team and will include visits from India and Australia.
The Bangladesh safari will be followed by a full tour involving the Indians, with four tests, five one-day internationals and three T20 international on the programme.
“Our scheduling discussions with the BCCI are in progress and we hope to be in a position to announce the fixtures for this tour soon,” said CSA chief executive Haroon Lorgat.
