Runners set off on the 32km day one where they tackled a challenging route that included parts of the Gxalingenwa Trail and Cobham Nature Reserve.
They climbed the winding trails of the Maloti Drakensberg mountains to a height of 1969m before they descended to the finish line at Castle Burn.
The second and final day of the trail run started from Castleburn Farm and spectacular scenery helped participants take their mind off the aches and pains from the previous day.
The 30km route incorporated days four and five of the Giant’s Cup Hiking Trail before finishing at the Bushman’s Nek Resort.
