The second Momentum Cricket Sixes hosted hundreds of spectators, corporates, and cricket stars that enjoyed a day of cricketing action and fun at Old Eds on the weekend.
The event, founded by Graeme Smith, Justin Kemp and Mark Boucher, started off with a golf day at the Royal Johannesburg on Friday, followed by a dinner and auction where 12 corporate teams bid on their favourite cricket legends.
While corporate teams played against each other the following day, spectators had a blast in the Momentum Family Area, Style Lounge and in the VIP area, with Jozi’s A-List celebs such as Jeannie D, Clive Eksteen, Zuraida Jardine, Kerry Mc Gregor and Emmanuelle Castis.
The Cricket Sixes winning title eventually went to corporate team Five Lincoln led by retired international cricket star David Terbrugge.
“We would like to thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts who took part in the Cricket Sixes”, said Graeme Smith, former Proteas captain and tournament co-founder.
