The Cape Town Marathon has created special spectator zones for the event on September 18.
Making an impact across the country as the only Silver Label road race in Africa, organisers have called on participants to challenge themselves and their friends at the iconic marathon.
Equally important in the quest for Gold Label status is the public support of an event which focusses on uplifting the local community and using peace in sport to drive positive change.
Besides the marathon and the Peace 10km run/walk on the Sunday, the weekend festival also includes Peace trail runs and a world-class expo.
